Assistant Principal's Message
What an exciting challenge coming to School #6! I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal, working along side Mr. Jackson and a dedicated group of educators.

I have two Bachelor’s Degrees from Rowan University- one in English and one in Elementary Education. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught in both Camden City and Washington Township grades two, three, and five. I have been both an assistant principal and/ or a principal in every grade- preschool through twelfth grade. I have even been an adjunct professor at Camden County College. I have worked for Audubon Public Schools, Pine Hill Public Schools, and Winslow Public Schools.

I was a recipient of a 2004 Geraldine Dodge Excellence in Leadership Principal’s Award and I have written and received a number of grants for the districts I have worked. I love being an assistant principal because I spend all of my time with my “kids.”

As assistant principal at School #6, I have the opportunity to supervise both the Safety Patrol Program and Student Council.  I enjoy fostering leadership skills and personal growth in our students.  We focus on many community outreach programs on an on-going basis such as collecting aluminum tab tops for the Ronald McDonald House and gently worn sneakers for Operation Footsteps.  I believe it is the responsibility of every person to give back to the world in a positive way- starting with our own community.
